Zero edge arrived across the board

The FAQ described a zero-edge release as the next thing out and put the platform at 99.9% at the time of writing. The lobby has moved past that: all twelve Originals now carry a 100% RTP badge. The constraint that comes with it — caps, because uncapped zero-edge volume eventually breaks any bankroll — is covered in why zero edge needs a ceiling, and what that gap between 99% and 100% actually does is simulated here.

Already shipped: rock paper scissors and the castle

Two items from this roadmap have landed since it was written, and it is worth marking them off rather than leaving them listed as future plans.

Rock Paper Scissors is in the lobby. Player against player, which means the house is not the counterparty and there is no edge to argue about — the question becomes whether the matchmaking and outcome are honest, answered by the same seed commitment used across the Originals. Castle Roulette is live. The castle Duel described as under construction is producing games now, and the table carries a live badge in the lobby. A casino that markets through spectacle needs a set, and owning the studio means owning what happens on it — no live-casino supplier's standards committee in the way, which is exactly why the clips look the way they do.

A zero-edge PvP sportsbook

The most ambitious item on the list, and the one Duel itself hedges on. The idea is betting on sport at no margin at all, structured player against player rather than player against house — which is the only way a zero-edge book can work, since a traditional bookmaker's entire business is the margin baked into its prices.

If it ships, it is a genuinely different product from a sportsbook with competitive odds. Whether it ships is another matter: Duel describes it as in progress and hopes it works out, which is not the language of something close to release.

In-house slots, provably fair

Custom slots are on the list too, and the stated angle is not the theme or the maths — it is verification. Duel's reasoning is that existing slots cannot be checked by anyone outside the studio that built them, so there is no way to rule out a provider not running the maths it certified. Its own slots would be provably fair and built to the lowest edge it can manage.

On sponsorships

Duel has also said it has little time for most gambling influencers and is selective about who it works with. Given the guests who have already appeared at its tables, the filter is clearly not respectability — it is whether someone fits the brand.
