Why a site about one casino

Duel produces more material than any single operator has a right to. A live studio running guest sessions, a founder who plays the largest pots in televised poker, a combat sports promotion of its own, and a games library built in-house rather than licensed. That is four separate subjects under one brand, and the coverage of it is scattered across reposts that have lost their context.

The narrow focus is deliberate. A site covering fifty casinos writes fifty shallow reviews. A site covering one can read the parameters out of the games, work out what they actually return, and check the operator's own claims against arithmetic.

How we work

Numbers get computed, not quoted. Every RTP figure on this site is either read directly off a game's interface or derived from its rules, and the page shows the working. Where we ran a simulation, the methodology is stated and the sample size is given.

Claims get sourced. Where a figure comes from Duel's own material we say so. Where a figure is circulating without a source we can check — a pay-per-view price, a rate on a specific game — the page says that instead of picking the most convenient version. Several pages here carry exactly that note.

Corrections are visible. When we get something wrong we fix the page and say what changed rather than quietly editing. A published number that turns out to be mistaken is worse than no number, and pretending otherwise costs more than the correction does.

What we will not publish

Fabricated figures, including plausible-looking ones. Reproduced text from other sites. Superlatives we cannot support — "fastest", "best", "number one" — unless there is a measurement behind them. Accusations against named individuals beyond what established press has reported.

How this site earns

Affiliate commission. When a reader follows a link to Duel and signs up, this site is paid. Those links are marked sponsored in the markup and appear as buttons rather than disguised as editorial text.

That arrangement is worth being direct about, because it creates an obvious incentive to present one operator favourably. Our answer is the arithmetic: we publish the house edge figures rather than hiding them, we state where Duel's own claims do not quite match what we measured, and the review lists the trade-offs — Anjouan licensing rather than a major regulator, crypto-only deposits, extensive country restrictions — in the same tone as the strengths.

A reader who checks our numbers and finds them correct is worth considerably more than one who took a slogan on trust. That is not principle, it is the only durable business model available to a site this small.

Gambling, and the point of all this
