Groomer's Van

Every other game in the lobby is a recognisable format with known mathematics. These two are not versions of anything, and there is no published rule set for either.

What is actually known

Both appear in Duel's Originals lobby carrying the same 100% RTP badge as the rest, and both are in-house builds rather than licensed titles. That is the complete list of what we can state.

Neither has a Dice or Plinko equivalent to reason from. When a game is a variation of something standard, its mathematics can be derived from the format even without the operator publishing anything — that is how the figures on Limbo and Keno were worked out. Here there is no format to derive from.

So this page has no probability table on it, and that is deliberate. Everywhere else on this site the numbers are either read off the game or computed from its rules. Neither is possible here yet, and inventing something plausible would be worse than leaving the space empty.

What to look for in the game itself

If you open either one, four things determine everything and all four are usually visible in the interface:

The win condition. What has to happen for a round to pay.

The payout. What it pays when it does.

The stated chance. Most Duel Originals print a win probability somewhere — Dice puts it on the main panel, and that single number is what makes the game auditable in ten seconds.

Any risk or difficulty setting. On every other game here those change variance rather than return, and the same is likely true of these.

Chance multiplied by payout gives the return. If that product comes to 1.0000, the badge holds. Anything less is the margin. That one multiplication is the whole method, and it works on any game that publishes its own odds — the worked version is on the Dice page.

Why Duel builds games nobody else has

Original formats do something a licensed slot cannot: they belong to the operator, so the mathematics is Duel's to set rather than a provider's to dictate. That is the entire reason the zero-edge project exists on in-house titles and not on the slot library, where the provider's numbers apply regardless of what any casino would prefer.

It also produces something to clip. A game nobody has seen before is more watchable on a stream than another version of dice, and Duel's whole marketing model runs on footage rather than advertising.

The trade-off is that an unfamiliar format is harder to check. With Dice or roulette you can compare against a known standard; with a game invented last quarter there is nothing to compare to except its own printed numbers. That makes reading them more important, not less.

Verification works regardless

Whatever the rules turn out to be, both are provably fair like the rest of the Originals: outcomes are committed before the round and checkable against their seeds afterwards using the verifier. That guarantee does not depend on understanding the game — it proves the result was not altered after you bet, which is worth having even while the rest is unclear.

This page gets the rules and the numbers as soon as we have them from the games themselves.

Chance times payout

Whatever the format, that product is the return. It should come to 1.0000.
